Do you really need a full nights rest? YES! Sleeping regenerates your fabulous mind and dazzling body. Most teens your age doesn’t get enough sleep.
We at Sac Central recommend that you get a full nights rest, which is 7 to 9 hours. Without a full nights rest you can become easily annoyed and irritated.
A teen going through chemo for testicular cancer needs more rest because it helped his immune system.
Alcohol
Avoid alcohol. It can lead to restless and non-refreshing sleep.
Caffeine
Caffeine interferes with falling asleep and prevents going into deep sleep.
Exercising
Avoid activities that increase alertness near bedtime.
Diet

Hunger interrupts sleep. A small bedtime snack may help.
